Yonder Hills Oasis features a unique private disc golf experience in the heart of the Palouse. The course combines rolling hills, elevation changes, open fairways, technical wooded shots, and the natural beauty of a fourth-generation family farm established in 1916.
Players can enjoy a challenging and evolving layout designed to take advantage of the property's diverse terrain while providing a memorable experience for both recreational and competitive players.
The course is currently undergoing a major redesign and expansion as we continue developing Yonder Hills Oasis into a premier recreation destination in the Palouse.
The current layout features 18 MVP Black Hole Portal baskets playing to a par 56 with approximately 100 feet of elevation change, a mix of open and lightly wooded fairways, natural hazards, ace runs, and a variety of shot shapes suitable for players of all skill levels.
As improvements continue, some basket locations may not yet have permanent tee pads or signage. Current tees consist of grass, bark, dirt, or temporary surfaces while final layouts are tested and refined. Rubber tee pads will be reinstalled following completion of ongoing barn restoration work.
We are also integrating the short technical course into a future 27-basket tournament layout, creating additional routing options and expanded opportunities for leagues, tournaments, clinics, and special events.
Work continues on the restoration of the historic farm buildings, which may eventually provide amenities such as a pro shop, gathering spaces, food service, restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, and other visitor improvements.
Every visit, contribution, volunteer effort, and recommendation helps move these projects forward.
Closed-toe footwear is strongly recommended.
Please bring your own drinking water.
The property's well water is currently posted as non-potable.
Children should remain supervised at all times.
Pets are permitted only with prior approval.
Please respect all wildlife, restoration projects, and neighboring agricultural operations.
During periods of elevated fire danger, smoking is permitted only in designated parking and camping areas.
Players should expect uneven terrain, tall vegetation, seasonal weeds, wildlife, changing weather conditions, and other natural outdoor conditions common throughout the Palouse.
Please use caution when retrieving discs from rough areas, water features, and creek corridors.
Please remain alert when playing near the railroad corridor and maintain a safe distance from all rail traffic.
Yonder Hills Oasis is being developed through the support of volunteers, contributors, players, and community members who believe in creating a unique conservation and recreation destination for future generations.
